Kudamaloor has gained so great a name that it stands at par with 'fatima' 'Lurde' 'Assissi' etc in the Holy sea calander. Overnight, my 'Kudamaloor' became so famous. Sr. Alphonsamma has now been pronounced 'Saint Alphonsa Muttathupadathu' from 1.00 p.m. (IST)on 12th October, 2008. Indeed a Gold letter day for Kudamaloor. I believe, All those who belong to Kudamaloor rejoice on this occurance. Let us celebrate.
Bharananganam, which holds Alphonsa's holy grave, walked away with the cake by getting the maximum popularity as the epicentre of Alphonsa's pilgrimage.
